Your data is yours, and we use it only to work for you

This page explains what Multiz keeps, what it only looks at when you ask, and what you can switch off. It covers the Multiz platform at app.multiz.io and this site.

Who we are

Multiz LLC runs the Multiz platform for property owners and operators. For the data a customer gives us, the customer decides what it is used for and Multiz processes it on their behalf, under the agreement we sign with them.

Data you give us

Your properties, leases, people, documents and reports belong to you. We use them only to provide the platform to you. We do not sell them, we do not use them for advertising, and we never use them to train AI models. Only the people you invite can see them, each according to their role.

If you connect your Google account

Your company’s Google Workspace administrator can grant Multiz access for your company, or you can connect your own Google account. Either way, the Multiz assistant can then look in your Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive when you ask it to. Multiz only ever uses your own mailbox, calendar and files, never a colleague’s.

If your company switches it on, administrators and operators can also ask the assistant to send an email from their own Gmail address or to add or change an event on their own calendar (its time, title, place or guests). The assistant prepares it, shows you exactly what it will do, and nothing happens until you approve it. When you approve a new event, Google emails the invitation to its attendees; when you approve a change, Google emails the update to everyone already on the event. Multiz cannot delete or share anything in your Google account, and it never touches anyone else’s mailbox or calendar.

Multiz looks at your Google data only to answer a request you make yourself, in that moment, for example finding an email or a file you asked about, or showing your calendar in Multiz. We do not copy your mail or files into Multiz, and an assistant answer that used your mail or files is not saved in your chat history. We keep an encrypted key that lets us reach your account while you stay connected, and a simple record of how many items were looked at and when (never what they said), which we delete after twelve months. For each email or event you approve, we keep who it went to, its subject or title, when, and who proposed it, for twelve months; the message text, copies, place and attendees are deleted once it is sent or refused, or, if nobody decides, the next time anyone in your company opens Multiz AI after 24 hours.

No person at Multiz reads your Google data, unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Multiz’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect at any time in Multiz under Settings, Connections, Google, or from your Google account at myaccount.google.com under third-party connections. When you disconnect, we delete the key. If your company’s administrator granted access, they can remove it at any time in the Google Admin console.

The AI provider we use

The Multiz assistant runs on Anthropic’s Claude. When you ask a question, the text needed to answer it, including any mail or file text you asked about, is sent to Anthropic to produce the answer. Anthropic processes it for us under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to train its models on that data.
