How it works

The basics

Do we have to switch property management systems?

No. Your system of record stays where it is, whichever one you run. Multiz works on top of it and does the work that used to happen between systems.

What happens with an emergency or a medical call?

It goes to a person. Emergencies are escalated to your on-call until somebody picks up, and anything an agent should not decide is handed to your team instead of improvised.

How long does setup take?

Most properties start with the phone line and resident texting in the first weeks, then add maintenance, renewals and reporting. See How setup works.

Who sees our data?

Your team, with roles you control. Owners and investors see only their own properties.

About the product

Can we set different rules per building?

Yes. Each property keeps its own renewal policy.

Who talks to a resident who wants to negotiate?

Your team. Anything outside the policy goes to a person with the history attached.

Does the lease itself move?

No. The lease stays in your property management system.

Does Multiz post reviews replies on its own?

No. Replies are drafted; a person approves before anything is posted.

Can campaigns go to residents too?

Yes, with the consent rules for texting respected.

Do we need a new listing site?

No. Multiz works with where you already list.

Can residents tell they are talking to an agent?

You choose the greeting and tone. Anything sensitive is handed to a person.

Who sees a conversation?

Your team, by role. Owners do not see residents' messages.

Does it replace our phone number?

No. Your number stays yours; calls you choose, like after hours, are forwarded to Multiz.

Does Multiz collect payments?

No. Payments stay in the system you already use. Multiz handles the follow-up around them.

Can we control the tone of reminders?

Yes. You set the wording, the timing and when a person takes over.

Are fees posted automatically?

Only if you set a rule for it. Otherwise a person approves each one.

What if it is an emergency at night?

It is escalated along your on-call list until somebody picks up.

Can residents send photos?

Yes, and they are attached to the job the technician sees.

Where do the work orders live?

In your property management system, if that is where you keep them.

Can owners see renovations?

Yes, in the owner view, only for their own properties.

Does it track costs?

Spend against budget per job and per unit.

Do technicians need training?

They work from their phone: steps to tick and photos to add.

Does it need an app store download?

No. It opens on the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen.

Can vendors use it?

Vendors receive their jobs; your own team uses the crew app.

Can technicians see every job in the system?

No. They see their own jobs for today, and nothing an owner or the office does not need them to.

Does the AI make decisions on its own?

Only inside rules you set. Everything else is proposed to a person.

Is our data used to train models?

Your data is used to run your operation, not to train public models.

Can we switch an agent off?

Yes. Each agent has its own switch, per property.

Can an owner see another owner's data?

No. Access is scoped per owner, and checked for leaks.

Where do the numbers come from?

From your system of record and the work done in Multiz, the same numbers your team sees.

Can we send the report by email?

Yes, as a monthly summary with a link to the portal.

Can Multiz change rent or post charges on its own?

Only if you create a rule for it. By default those wait for a person.

What if something goes wrong?

Switch the agent off; the log shows exactly what it did.

Who can approve?

The people you give that role to.

By kind of home

Do we have to move off our property management system?

No. Your system of record stays where it is. Multiz works on top of it and does the work that used to happen between systems.

What happens when a prospect asks something the agent should not answer?

It goes to a person. Anything outside the rules you set, like pricing exceptions or a complaint, is handed to your team instead of improvised.

How long does it take to start?

Most communities start with the leasing line and resident texting in the first weeks, then add maintenance and renewals.

Will residents or families talk to a machine about care?

No care decision is made by an agent. Care and medical calls go to your staff; the agent answers the questions a front desk answers.

Does it replace our nurse call or care system?

No. It sits in front of your phone line and works alongside the systems you already run.

Can we choose which calls it takes?

Yes. You decide the hours, the questions it answers and where every other call goes.

Does it work with parents as well as students?

Yes. Guarantor and parent contacts are part of the file and get their own reminders.

What about the busy weeks before fall?

That is when it earns its keep: every enquiry answered at once, however many arrive.

Do we have to change our leasing software?

No. Multiz works on top of the system you already run.

Does Multiz decide eligibility?

No. Eligibility and compliance decisions stay with your team. Multiz handles the outreach, reminders and tracking around them.

Can it help residents who struggle with the forms?

It explains what is needed in plain words and books time with your office when someone needs help in person.

Where does the data live?

In your system of record. Multiz works on top of it.

We have no on-site staff. Does that matter?

That is the case it is built for: showings, vendors and requests handled remotely.

Does it work across several cities?

Yes. Each home keeps its own vendors, schedule and reporting inside one system.

Do we need new locks or hardware?

No. Multiz works with the access method and software you already use.

Can retail tenants use it too?

Yes. Retail tenants submit requests and bookings the same way residents do.

Does it handle commercial leases?

It tracks lease events and reminders; the lease itself stays in your system of record.

Can we start with residential only?

Yes. Most buildings start with one side and add the other.
